“Sumy Machine-Building Science and Production Association” PJSC signed the contract with “ArcelorMittal Temirtau”, the largest steel manufacturer of Kazakhstan, for the supply of liquid-packed ring–type vacuum pumps.

Under the contract, Sumy engineers must manufacture 4 pumps of VVN2-50M type, designed for pumping water insoluble impurities from the mines, and ship them to the customer in November of this year.

As Oleg Semesenko, the senior sales manager mentions, the feature of this project is that the pumps will be first equipped with explosion-proof motors for optimal operation at the facilities of the coal industry.

“We have already experience of cooperation with ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC. For example, the contract for manufacturing of liquid-packed ring-type pump of VVN2-300 modification was signed in May of this year. The products have already been produced and waiting for the customer’s permission for the shipment, “- said Oleg Semesenko.
