Sumy machine-builders are finishing the works on water-packed vacuum pumps of the ВВН2-50М type, created per the order of “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” JSC (Kazakhstan). The contract stipulates the production of four units of this equipment, and they are to be shipped in the nearest future.

WPVPs are traditional products of SNPO. However, this time there is a small twist – the pumps will be shipped furnished with the newest electric motors that will ensure the high explosion-protection level. They are located on the common frame to make further operation more convenient. Their key function is pumping water-insoluble impurities out of coal mines.

As stated by Oleg Semesenko, the lead manager of the Sales Department, Sumy machine-builders have cooperated with “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” in the past – the company considered to be the biggest mining and metallurgy company in Kazakhstan. For example, last year a powerful ВВН2-300 pump was manufactured for it.
