“Sumy Machine-Building Science and Production Association” PJSC concluded another contract with the Ingenieurbüro R. Großmann GmbH & Co. KG (IBG) company from German. This time, Sumy machine-builders need to manufacture a number of main assembly units for a gas drying unit.

In particular, the contract stipulates the manufacture of nine technologically complex blocks, specifically absorbers, degasser, filters, triethylene glycol (TEG) regeneration block, regenerated TEG pumps, anti-foamer metering block. The customer also expects a number of vessel products, such as reflux, emergency drain and fresh triethylene glycol storage vessels. This equipment is meant to replace the outdated equipment of the gas drying unit, modernization of which is carried out by IBG.

The time period for the contract execution is quite short – the new products need to be shipped in the third quarter of this year.

As stated by Vladimir Andriyenko, the head of the SNPO Sales Department, the development of cooperation with IBG offers great opportunities for the Company on the international stage, since that company operates not only on European territories, but also in many other countries worldwide.

To recap, “Sumy NPO” and the new German customer signed their first contract in April this year. The agreement covers shipment of a lot of II-stage inlet and outlet knock-out drums, as well as nozzles for compressors of the I and the II compression ratio, for replacement in turbo-compressor units in a high-pressure compressor station.
