The contract which provides for the production of a filtering centrifuge of the modification FGN-2001K-01 was signed between Sumy NPO PJSC and Aktobe Chromium Compounds Plant JSC (Aktobe, Kazakhstan). This type of equipment belongs to the largest of those that the enterprise produces.

The weight of such a centrifuge in its finished form exceeds 17 tons, the diameter of its rotor is 2 m. This product is designed for the separation of suspensions in which the solid phase has a crystalline or granular structure. The customer needed it for technical re-equipment of its own production facilities.

The contract to be implement until the end of November of this year.

Aktobe Plant, which is one of three manufacturers of chrome compounds in the CIS, specializes in the production of sodium dichromate, chromium oxide and sulphate, chromic anhydride, etc. It is a long-time partner of the Sumy NPO. In particular, Kazakh colleagues successfully use centrifuges and pumping equipment, designed and manufactured by Sumy machine-builders. For example, several years ago they ordered centrifuges of ½ FGP-631K-01 type, as well as spare parts for FGN-2001K-01.
