This week “Sumy NPO” PJSC has been attended by representatives of the Turkish gas company Botas Petroleum Pipeline Corporation, which signed a contract for the supply of turbo-compressor package (GPA) for the compressor station (CS) “Sivas”. The delegation arrived to take part in the tests of the centrifugal compressor – the heart of GPA produced by Sumy engineers. The guest were fully satisfied with that they saw.
According to Aleksander Tatarinov, head of Overseas Sales Bureau, Botas Petroleum Pipeline Corporation specialists, who are directly involved in “Sivas” operation, arrived to Sumy. So, Kilic Hur is a specialist in above-ground facilities, his colleague Servet Arslan is a head of this CS and Gani Kayginer is an engineer of the station.
“The delegation kept a good look-out for the procedure of the test, verified the parameters, examined the sample of the equipment. As a result – the compressor test results fell short of their expectations, “- said Mr. Tatarinov, adding that two guests from Turkey visited the Company test facility for the first time. Impressions are very positive!
Now, however, the personnel should focus on speedy completion of the project for the supply of GPA-C-16C to the station “Sivas”, which, incidentally, has already been equipped with three similar packages manufactured by Sumy NPO more than five years ago. Currently the expansion of capacity of the CS is being carried out, and the customer has engaged Sumy engineers to fulfill this demanding task.
