This week, “Sumy NPO” PJSC began the hydrotesting procedures for vessel-type equipment manufactured per the contract concluded with Ingenieurbüro R. Großmann GmbH & Co. KG (IBG) company. This equipment will replace the outdated units used in gas drying unit currently renovated by the German partners.
Specifically, the production of a batch of technologically complex vessels is currently drawing to a close. “The first unit to be finished shall be the reflux vessel. It was the one to start the hydrostatic testing process witnessed by the customer’s representatives. Next in line is the fresh triethyleneglycol storage vessel”, – explains Sergei Grebenik, the Head of Workshop No.8 where these products are manufactured.
According to him, a degasser block will be thoroughly tested next week. Then the equivalent procedure will be performed on another two blocks, each based on charcoal and cartridge filters. At the end of September, the biggest product worked on in Workshop No.8 per this contract should join the hydrotests – an emergency drain vessel. It is a horizontal piece of equipment 8,5 m long and 3 m in diameter. It will be used underground.
It should be noted that production works began also for the next agreement with the IBG company, that stipulates the supply of a turbo-compressor unit with the capacity of 12 MW and a range of accompanying stationary equipment. The German partners expect the finished products for compressor station expansion by the end of this year.
